Roughly 3,000 faculty basketball gamers have stepped on the hardwood to signify their colleges in a Last 4 because the first March Madness tournament in 1939. Of these 3,000, we’ve seen a whole bunch of future NBA players and dozens of Corridor of Famers get their One Shining Second.
However that’s not what we’re after right here. We’re after one thing a bit extra … meaty. We’re after gamers who had their One Flexing Second.
Positive, the buzzer-beaters and late-game heroics of Michael Jordan, Larry Fowl and Magic Johnson are nice. And the legendary tournaments of Christian Laettner and Carmelo Anthony and Kemba Walker will reside on perpetually.
